The World Heart Beat Music Academy envisions a world where music, as a universal form of communication, bridges cultural, political, economic and linguistic barriers.

The Academy aims to bring the myriad of the world’s cultures together through music, providing an environment where all people can experience harmony with their fellow citizens and be empowered to create a feeling of identity and oneness with humanity at large.

I was lucky to be able to design the site and colour scheme from scratch to reflect the joyful, fresh and diverse nature of the Academy. The site is a full content management system in WordPress, so the client has control over the content.

Temple-Song-Hearts

Temple-Song-Hearts is an all female vocal and instrumental ensemble, founded in 1988 and devoted exclusively to performing the music of Indian spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy.

The website features an original design in the shape of an Indian Temple, using henna illustrations. The structure is based on i-frames so the background stays static while the content can be scrolled. It also features a Flash-based media player so visitors can listen to the group’s latest releases while browsing the site.

This is a portfolio site for amateur photographer Unmukta Gerretsen of The Netherlands.

The design is clear and simple so the images can tell their own story. They are categorised by country, following the client’s subtitle for the site: Boundless Journey

The structure is based on Airtight Interactive Flash tools, so the client can manage the photos himself. There is also a Flash music player.
