Immortality’s Flame-Waves is an all-female theatre company based in London, performing uplifting and illumining stories by Sri Chinmoy.
The client wanted a warm and fun yet professional look, with a mixture of 1950s and modern styling. She wanted the site itself to look like a stage, and to reflect the company’s reputation for colourful productions with an element of surprise. She also wanted lots of light with a few subtle visual effects for liveliness.
The site is thus ostensibly sepia, but with a hint of Flash and rollover images on the navigation and the homepage which spring into full colour, or light up. It was fun to design, and I hope it’s fun to visit!
